Pray. Just Do It.

2 Chronicles 7:14
14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Christian Business
We pray for all Christians in Business.  We pray for their protection, and for the Spirit of God to guide them in the decisions they make.  We pray that God will guard their conversations.  We pray that the way in which they conduct themselves in business is reflects Christ.  We pray that Christian businesses will be examples to other companies as to how to treat employees and customers fairly and with respect, maintaining the highest standards, those of Christ.  We pray for Christians in the workplace, we pray for their protection.  We pray that they too will reflect Christ in their conversations and relationships with colleagues and customers.

We pray that Christians in business will take seriously their responsibility to give back to the communities they serve, and that they will fight for justice, show mercy and reflect God in all that they say and do.

Domestic Violence
We pray in the name of Jesus, for all the victims of all types of domestic violence.  In the name of Jesus we renounce the evil of all types of domestic violence, physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual. We pray for healing of all victims of any domestic abuse.  We pray for forgiveness for those who commit such acts.  We pray for awakening in the church, and for Christian men to rise up and be a voice against this.  We pray that Christian men will not be blinded by ignorance, and that they will be examples of love in action to their families, not just to those they minister too.  Open their eyes to see that the negative actions and words in how they treat their wives and children are just as painful as physical violence.  We pray for those who work as Christian counsellors in this field, that they will be protected by the Spirit, and that they will be able to me ministers of the hope of Jesus to those they serve.

City Centre
We pray for the City Centre of Glasgow.  We pray for forgiveness for those who took part in the rioting last week.  We pray that they will know God and mans mercy and grace in these days.  We pray for the peace of the Spirit to be upon our city streets.  We pray for protection for the emergency services who serve our city.  We pray for the businesses in our city centre, that they will respond to the growing needs and social issues in our city in a positive way.  We pray for Christians who work in the City Centre, that they will be protected from attack.  We pray that they will be positive role models to their colleagues, and also that they will be ministers of grace and love.

Human Trafficking
We pray for the victims of this horrific crime.  We pray for an end to the day when this is still in our society.  We pray for healing for the victims.  We pray for restoration of families.  We pray forgiveness and justice for the perpetrators of these crimes.  We pray for Christians at the frontline of fighting this, that they will be protected by the Spirit, that they will be filled with grace, mercy and compassion.  We claim the victory over the evil one in this issue. We pray for wisdom and guidance for the politicians in our country who are attempting to bring new legislation into being to protect victims of trafficking.  We pray that there will be support across all groups to fight this and that the church will have a strong voice in the consultation.

Thy Kingdom Come
We pray that God’s Kingdom comes in Glasgow.  We pray that we see the day of Salvation today.  We pray for the Spirit to move and shake up this City.  We boldly pray for more souls to be saved, and that more will come to know the love of God and that they will recognise their need for Christ as their Saviour.  God we cry out to you for revival in our City.  We cry out to you for revival – today.

We pray that Glasgow will once again flourish by the preaching of the Word, and the praising of His name.

The Word
We pray that God’s word becomes a reality for our City, and that Justice and Mercy will be evident in all areas of our society.  We pray that Christians in Glasgow will be God colours in their communities.  We pray that churches will be light in their communities.

Community
We pray for the communities in the city of Glasgow.  We pray that churches will work together to bring hope and light.  We pray for the power of the Spirit to be upon our churches and that they will be a place from where communities can be served, and from where we can go out and be Jesus in our communities.
